NAVSH CPD Offer 2022-23
- Post Graduate Certificate Course
- Delivered in partnership with Bath Spa University
- Mike Gorman is current course leader, Glinys Weller will join as joint course leader from September and will take on the lead role from January 2023
- New course starts January 2023. Booking via NAVSH website – please watch out for the mailshot with all the details in next few weeks from info@NAVSH
- Course available to anyone who meets the eligibility criteria (e.g. DT/DSL)
- Award available for VSH/ VS team members on completion of the course – reimbursed to their Virtual School/LA.
- Scholarship of up to £2000 (up to 10 scholarships per year ) available to VSH or member of team VSH nominates - payable on completion of postgraduate study (e.g. Masters/PHD) in a relevant field. Application form and details available very soon on NAVSH website.
- NAVSH Peer Review
- Based on LGA model but focussed entirely on the Virtual School
- Alan Clifton currently co-ordinates this programme, Linda Mason will join as joint co-ordinator from September and will take on the lead role from January 2023.
- Commissioned by the Virtual School Head
- Delivered by peer reviewer team of experienced VSHs and an AD
- Conducted over 2.5 days, with immediate feedback and report provided
- Can be delivered virtually or face to face
- Cost per LA £3000
- Maximum of 9 undertaken each year
- Annual training provided by NAVSH for VSHs wishing to participate as recipients or reviewers

Has four strands
- A monthly video conference to support new VSH in their role
- Online learning content
- Coaching (up to 9 VSH per year)
