Expression of Interest for VSH to assist with the New Virtual School Heads Programme on an ad hoc basis.
We are looking for a VSH willing to help co -facilitate the monthly video conferences for New Virtual School Heads, currently lead by experienced Ex VSH’s, Rachael Pryor and Zoe Heywood.
The current facilitators of this flag ship member benefit are keen to succession plan and develop a third facilitator role to stand in when Rachael or Zoe is unavailable and to provide input to course content and expertise from a colleague who is a serving VSH.
Video Conferences are a way of connecting those new to the VSH role, providing support (usually around a published topic) and providing new VSH’s with a “safe space” to ask questions and discuss the highlights and challenges of the unique role of the VSH. They take place monthly (10 per year).
You would be required to
- Attend the majority of New to Role Video Conferences (Usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 4pm-5.30pm, with no conference in December or August).
- Share your experience and expertise openly with colleagues.
- Demonstrate empathy and offer support to new colleagues and link them with support networks such as regional leads/groups
- Co-facilitate the group as required (e.g. in the absence of Zoe or Rachael).
This is a voluntary role, but remuneration may be provided in the form of a free NAVSH national conference place for the successful candidate.
To find out more about the expectations and benefits of working with the group please contact Rachael Pryor rachael@pryorlearning.co.uk to arrange an informal chat.
EOI submission deadline: Friday 20th December 2024
Please submit all ‘expressions of interest’ to Louise Harrison at louise.harrison@setsquaresolutions.com
