NAVSH conference 2021 ‘Virtual Schools - promoting recovery with care and education’

Our 2021 conference is now open for booking!

We are pleased to announce our 2021 conference. This year it will be an online event running over two days: Tuesday February 2nd and Wednesday February 3rd.

With the conference being online and keenly priced, we are hoping to have as many people as possible joining us from each Virtual School team. The cost for each delegate is just £100 for the first 4 delegates from your team. Subsequent delegates will be charged at just £50 each.

The programme will feature a keynote speech from Kriss Akabusi. Kriss grew up in the care system before gaining fame in athletics. He will be talking about his life and our conference theme: Building the bridge between Education and Social Care.

Other speakers include:

Edd Shackleton - NCER, national data developments.

Ofsted – leaders from Education and Social Care.

Vicky Ford - Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Education, with responsibility for children and families.

Carolyn Roberts - Headteacher of Thomas Tallis School, Greenwich – Ethical Leadership.

There will be opportunities for questions to a panel plus networking with colleagues from across the country. A full agenda will be published in due course.
